The Vision
The North American WASZP Class Association is proud to announce a new strategic partnership with America One Racing (A1R), marking a major step forward for foiling development in North America. Starting January 1, 2026, this collaboration will bring world-class coaching, professional-level training systems, and athlete-development expertise directly into the WASZP pathway creating a comprehensive and accessible foiling pipeline from first flights to the professional stage. Along with existing partners USFoil and WeCANFoil hosting and supporting the teams on a year round basis, this exposure and access will accelerate growth and opportunity for every sailor.
Youth Development Teams (ages 12+)
This is where the journey begins. For sailors as young as twelve years old, the Youth Development Team introduces foiling in a safe, structured, and inspiring environment using smaller-rig setups and wing-foiling platforms. It emphasizes fun, teamwork and skill-building under certified coaches, preparing sailors for the next level.
North American Race Team
For committed and capable sailors ready to step into serious competition, our North American Race Team provide advanced coaching, performance tracking, equipment support and national-level regatta access. This is the bridge between developing talent and elite performance.
Podium Team (Invitation Only) Ages 18-29
At the top of our structure is the Podium Team — the highest tier where the best young foilers evolve into elite-level competitors. These athletes train with professional coaches, focus on technical optimization, data-driven performance and international competition, and serve as ambassadors of foiling excellence.
